Confirm a Life Start certificate

Enter the certificate number printed on the card along with the holder's last name. No account needed.

Where to find the number It's printed on both the certificate and the wallet card next to "Certification #". Scanning the QR code on the certificate opens the result directly.

For employers

What a valid result tells you

A match confirms the holder's name, the course they completed, the issue date and the expiry date. Life Start certifications are approved for use in six provinces.

Common questions

Nothing found? Check for a transposed digit, and confirm the last name matches the one used at registration rather than a current married or preferred name. Certificate expired? Most first aid certifications run three years. Book a recertification on the courses page. Lost the card? Learners can re-download it any time from their account.
